Andrei Bondarenko will make his Royal Opera House debut this coming season in the company’s first new production of La Bohème in nearly 45 years. The Ukrainian baritone will reprise his critically acclaimed account of Marcello in a new staging by Olivier Award-winning director Richard Jones.
In performances that span June 19 through July 20, Andrei stars opposite Atalla Ayan as Rodolfo, Ekaterina Siurina as Mimì, and Vlada Borovko as Musetta. Paul Wynne Griffiths and Nicola Luisotti trade off on the podium.
